What are some memories of growing up in Zimbabwe?
Sunshine. Warmth. Electric thunderstorms. Bright purple Jacaranda trees. Mini Cooper-sized pot holes. Shoddy politics. Petrol queues. Dusty farm roads. Fishing with my dad. Gardening with my mum. Eating flying ants as a kid – weird, I know! But most of all; the beautiful, kind, smiley people – despite their daily struggles.

Best thing about living in London?
The 3 days of summer we get in a year. A pint in the sunshine with my people is just about the best damn thing in the world.

Best thing about the job?
Getting paid to come up with ideas. It’s bonkers! And getting to work with so many talented people.

Favourite book?
’House of Stone’ by Christina Lamb. I like seeing two sides of the story, especially when it’s a story similar to my own.

Favourite podcasts?
A podcast a day keeps the negative thoughts at bay. For me, at least. There’s so many to pick from. But a few faves that I subscribe to: “How to Fail” by Elizabeth Day, “Happy Place”, “The Guilty Feminist”, and “Made Not Born”. Also, anything true crime. Any Sweet Bobby fans out there?

What would your desert island item be?
It would have to be my favourite Zimbabwean chilli sauce, ‘Cheeky Chilli’. Anything doused in Cheeky Chilli tastes amazing.

Favourite Instagram account?
@moast. She’s a wildly talented, outrageously hardworking shoe designer. She also happens to be my big sis.

Favourite city?
The Mother City, otherwise known as Cape Town. Please go and climb Lion’s Head if you haven’t yet.

What’s your favourite place on Earth?
The Zambezi River. It’s the wildest place I’ve ever been to.

Weirdest thing you’ve eaten?
Mupane worm. Never again.

Little things that make you happy?
Cuppa tea, a bath, and sunshine.

Ultimate dinner party guests?
Mandela and Moira Rose. Niche combo. Not sure how it would play out.
