I knew when I first went on The Yacht Week
6 years ago I’d have fun,
sailing,
meeting new people.

I just didn’t realise how much…
It’s more of a lifestyle than a holiday…
There’s like life before The Yacht Week
and life after.
It’s so much more than sailing, partying and exploring.
It’s the people.
They keep me coming back.

I can’t believe it’s only 7 days long.
In the space of one week
I made friends with Swedes,
Argentinians,
Jamaicans...
People from all around the world.
It’s crazy to experience all these different cultures at once.

Explaining it doesn’t do it justice,
You have to live it yourself.
Meeting someone and finding out
They've also done The Yacht Week
Is like being in on a secret…
We all share the same story.

The sailing is what brings us together,
But it’s really more than that.
It’s the people.
That’s the real reason we’re all here.
It’s us.
